Can a tanker go to airborne school?

Technically, yes. But the Army has always been reluctant to have fully trained soldiers in a particular MOS bounce over to another MOS. They see it as waste of the time and money it took to train you in the initial MOS if you then want to change altogether. Some soldiers cross train and pick up secondary MOSs, but to completely get away from your primary MOS is not always easy.
