How much hydrogen (gas and/or liquid) could an oil tanker ship covered in solar panels produce in a day?

Mike is correct, however, the ship could have one million square meters of solar panels = optimistic. Also optimistic is 300,000 square meters are illuminated by perpendicular sun light. At the equator, 100 watts per square meter is produced ten hours per day = possibly realistic. So 30 thousand kilowatt hours per day, worth about $1500 per day at average wholesale rates. If we make it into hydrogen it will be worth about $500 per day, if someone will buy it only moderately compressed. Half as much oxygen will be produced which may be worth $500 per day under low pressure, but that is optimistic. The oxygen has 8 times the mass of the hydrogen. Some locations near the equator are sunny most of the time and most storms are weak and rare. If you make liquid hydrogen $100 per day sales is optimistic, since most buyers will want more than $100 worth, but you need to sell daily at sun set to avoid re-liquefying the hydrogen daily. Neil
