HP Envy 17 3D laptop freezes everyday! And nearly everytime?

I just recently bought an envy and everytime I've used it, it has frozen on me. I took it to the store and they said reformat it and so I did and it's just the same. Ctrl + Alt + Del does not work and I'm forced to press the power button to turn it off and back on. Amy help of resolving this issue?
