yes, there is a possibility you could be pregnant. after starting a new birth control, it takes at least one month for the new birth control to start working. the dr should of told u to use backup birth control for the first month of starting it. the only thing for u to do now is wait around for your expected period to start, if you miss it take a test. my friend was on a birth control shot an didnt have a period so im not exaclty sure how that works. if the shot that your on isnt going to give you a period the only thing u can do it to wait a little longer an test to make sure. if the test come back negative an you are experiencing pregnancy symptoms go see a dr. good luck to u
