Cavalry Stetson-Should only Scouts and Tankers be the only ones to wear them?

I was posted with an INFANTRY unit when I was in the 82d Airborne Division. Although I was NOT an infantryman, the uniform for the unit meant that I still wore the blue shoulder braid and infantry brass on my class A uniform collar. Other than the variance in EARNED decorations, almost ALL units want their uniforms to be "uniform." That's the way it works.
