Facebook Link Virus Help?

I accidentally clicked on a link on Facebook that somebody posted on somebody else's wall. I didn't mean to click on it at all, but I think it is one of those things that if you click on it then it somehow manages to post perverted or stupid video links to other people's walls under your name. I realized this about 2 seconds after I accidentally clicked on the link and quickly deactivated my Facebook because some of the things that they post are really innappropriate and embarrassing. I don't want people I never even really talk to thinking that I am posting these things to their walls. What should I do? If I reactivate my account will the virus still be active? Or should I just give it a few days to get it out of the system? Advice or any information is appreciated. Thank you.
