Having some relationship problems with my conservative girlfriend... help?

I was around at my girlfriends house and her cat was walking along on the top of a fence, worried it might fall, I climbed up to get it down, and accidentally soiled all over the cat. It came inside and before I could stop it, it rolled all over my girlfriend's bed, covering the bed with the most horrific smelling rancid foul matter. When she came upstairs, and saw her bed covered with corn and nuts, I think it's fair to say she wasn't impressed. She refuses to speak to me now. What should I do?
