Help me with this crazy situation in ubuntu 11.04?

ok, i was fooling around with compizconfig to get the cube display. when i checked it, it asked me to disable the wall option.when i did that it also said that disabling the wall would mean disabling the unity plugin(or something like that i dont remember well). now the next time i rebooted,no taskbar,no launcher just icons sitting on my desktop! now i cant even change settings coz i dont know where the apps menu has dissappered, the only things i can do is check the icons on the desktop and reboot after i hit the ctrl+alt+del buttons. help plz...n i am a begginer if u couldnt tell from the above :)
