Joining submarine force: how the $#@*() do you "ground" a submarine!?

If i might add, it is what i like to call people taking short cuts and not following Proper Procedure. It does not surprise me nowadays. We have lost a lot of Discipline in the Military. I know there will be people that disagree but i was there to see it for the last 5yrs.
