Help with dog growling, experienced people only please!?

A growl is an important communication from a dog. It says, Don't do that, it hurts (or it scares me). Would you want to go through life being unable to tell people not to do something that scared or hurt you? So the answer is simple. You respect the dog's right to communicate and don't punish a dog for growling...and you stop doing what the dog growled about.
